Dear Doug’s Bugs Customer,

We are pleased to announce an exciting new era at Doug’s Bugs. We have merged with Targus Fly and Feather. This is an exciting move for us because the merger will allow us to offer our customers a broader product range. In addition to our line of fly tying materials, books, and fly-fishing accessories, we will have a much larger line of flies at our disposal, over 300,000 dozen currently in stock.

Not only that, we have been working with Targus Fly on the new Targus Color Match (TCM) system. Expect to see some new products utilizing the new TCM, including chenilles, dubbings, saddle hackle, and marabou. This is something not seen in the fly-fishing industry, and we are pleased to be at the forefront of offering our customers new and innovative products.

Our inventory has been moved to a new modern warehouse in Woodland, Washington. Shipping from our brand new facility will begin immediately.

My role at Targus will be very similar to the job I have been performing at Doug’s Bugs. I will be in charge of flies and fly tying materials. The day to day tasks of running a business will be out of my hands so I can concentrate on new and innovative flies and materials.
